SUNFORTIS® acts preventively against sunburns and supports crop metabolism: it must be applied before periods of intense sunlight, from the beginning of fruit formation in order to ensure effective protection.
SUNFORTIS® has a dual action: protection and nutrition. It reflects a large part of the sun’s radiation (UVB, visible and near infrared) while providing magnesium, which helps to maintain photosynthetic activity and preserve yield. Conversely, clay products act only through a physical effect of light reflection, without any nutritional contribution. In addition, SUNFORTIS® is less abrasive for spraying equipment, which limits wear and tear on the equipment.
SUNFORTIS® is used as a preventive measure before periods of intense sunlight, at 25kg/ha in arboriculture and market gardening, and 2.5kg/hL on grapevines.
SUNFORTIS® is compatible with many plant protection products. However, due to its basic pH, it is recommended to carry out a compatibility test before mixing and to avoid mixing with products that are sensitive to high pH.
