Problem addressed

Race, sport, leisure, and breeding horses are particularly prone to gastric disorders due to stress, intense physical exertion, and frequent changes in diet. These conditions promote excess acidity in the stomach, which can lead to inflammation of gastric mucosa, decreased performance, loss of appetite or signs of discomfort.

The TIMRIDE-UP® solution has been developed to prevent and relieve these gastric disorders by reducing stomach acidity and protecting the mucous, while respecting the requirements of competing horses.

Our solution

The effectiveness of GASTRIMAG by TIMRIDE-UP® is based on the synergy of the following 4 ingredients:

  • Standardized sources of magnesium oxides (TIMRIDE-UP®): offer a high acid neutralization capacity and support gastric functions (Leleu & Couroucé, 2023)

  • Bentonite: reduces mucus degradation and improves properties such as viscosity and elasticity (Bergaya, Theng & Lagaly, 2006)

  • Alfalfa: enhances palatability and acts as a stomach buffer (Nadeau et al., 2000)

  • A pre and post biotic: restores the balance of gastric and digestive flora and supports the integrity of the digestive wall throughout the digestive tract (Faubladier et al., 2014) & (Laude et al., 2009 & 2010)
